Hmmm. Well, short version of last few months:

Finished first semester at new job with 6/9 of my clinical group failing the class on a very dramatic and stressful day, which was the same day I interviewed to keep my position, as I was originally hired just for one semester.

Went to LA for a conference, had a great time, came back energized with ideas.

Working this summer teaching pharmacology and helping with clinical for the second semester students.

Recently finally got the formal job offer for my full time, permanent position. Just found out two days ago I won't be with the group I was with for the spring but am moving into a completely different branch of the nursing program, which will involve lots of new things, including teaching OB nursing next summer.

Got into a bit of a kerfuffle with the "writing responsibly" thing and got accused of being a witch-hunter by a crazy person. Read more about that here (my original post) and here, among other places. There was also reference to [info]stewardess (the one who accused me of being likely to report her to the authorities for writing incest) being a bit nuts with her "reporting" on the deletegate controversy a few weeks earlier.

Was on the news briefly while teaching. Read about that here.

Posted my 3000th post.

Oh, and I got an idea for a novel, which I've been working on haphazardly when I have time. Which I'll have more of the rest of the summer, along with less money, because the course I was supposed to be teaching in July didn't get enough students signed up for it.

How's that? :-)
