Changing tracks
Tomorrow is my last day in the publishing house where I've been working since 2004.
I leave for a month's holiday in India on this Sunday, 8th April. I'll be taking a family trip down south, all the way to the foot of the Indian peninsula.
When I return, it will be to a newspaper desk.

Change is good. I've been wanting this change. Yet part of me felt sad and sorry today, thinking of all the good times I've had in the office.

My BFF and colleague put me right though - if you're that depressed, you stay, I'll go! said she.

I cheered up immediately. I'm not that sorry to leave!

Congrats on the new job, and have fun on your trip! I know it's hard to leave, but I bet your new job will be awesome :-)

Wow. A lot has changed in the past two weeks! I am excited for you, both for the newspaper job and for getting to spend a month touring your home country.

I am now truly really almost ready to send the package out to you. If you will email me directly to give me a Pune address, I will send it there.
